Most people work to live. We count ourselves very lucky to be making our living while doing stuff we’re passionate about. We cook because we love food, and we go to parties because we love people. Our kitchen is a continually busy riot of flavour and colour where we often laugh so much our stomachs ache.
Since starting in Andrea Foulkes’ home kitchen during the course of 2002 we have cooked for some of South Africa’s best-known corporates, as well as many of Cape Town’s leading lights. From large events, such as the Nederburg Auction, Loerie Awards, Durban July or J&B Met to catered home dinners or fairy tale weddings, we apply the same passion for food and attention to detail.
Our repertoire draws on European, Asian and New World influences. We bring a contemporary slant to barbecue/braai, which we regard as one of our specialities. While we often use duck, beef, lamb, chicken, as well as various fish and seafood, a disproportionate number of the dishes we produce are vegetarian. Whether you’re hosting 10 or 1000 to breakfast, lunch or dinner, we deliver professional, personal service:
- we offer the alternative of preparing and serving the food at your function, or dropping off platters ready to put out
- we arrange staff to serve food and beverages
- menu planned to your specific requirements
- your kitchen is left in pristine condition!
Where required we also do full event management and
co-ordination.
